AceShowbiz - Olivia Colman has made her official debut as Queen Elizabeth II in a new teaser for "The Crown".

The Oscar winner has picked up the role as the royal from actress Claire Foy, who portrayed The Queen in seasons one and two of the Netflix hit.

In the new trailer, which dropped on Friday, September 20, Colman, as Elizabeth, assesses a new stamp featuring her side profile.

Imitating The Queen's distinctive voice, Olivia, who played batty Queen Anne in "The Favourite", jokes she's become "an old bat" as aides persuade her the new image reflects "Her Majesty’s transition from young woman to... settled sovereign".

Colman adds, "A great many changes. Nothing one can do about it. One just has to get on with it".

The new series of "The Crown", which covers the period from 1964 to 1977, will also feature Tobias Menzies as the Duke of Edinburgh and Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret.

It debuts on Netflix on 17 November.
