Aside from confirming that she is in no rush to drop new music anytime soon, the 'Lemon' singer dismisses rumors that she will be performing at the Super Bowl Halftime 2020 show.

AceShowbiz - Rihanna has issued a heartfelt apology to fans after she confessed they're "gonna have to wait" for new music.

The star was one of the most prolific acts in music in the late 00s, releasing seven albums between 2005 and 2012. But her recording career has taken a backseat in recent years, as the "Diamonds" singer has worked on building her Fenty brand's beauty and fashion empires - and she told The List she's in no rush to drop an album anytime soon.

"Whatever I do is gonna be confident whether it's the album, perfume, lingerie, make-up, or fashion," she shared. "Y'all gonna have to wait."

"Navy, I'm so sorry," the singer, 31, apologised, addressing her loyal fanbase.

And while the "Man Down" hitmaker teased she's working on various projects, she insisted that despite swirling rumours, performing at the Super Bowl Halftime show in February, 2020, isn't one of them.

"I still got an album to finish," she told Entertainment Weekly. "You gonna ask me about Super Bowl? My fans about to have my neck."

Rihanna hasn't released an album since 2016's critically-acclaimed "Anti". She showcased her latest Savage X Fenty designer lingerie collection at New York Fashion Week on Tuesday, September 10, and the presentation will be available to stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video from September 20.
