The 20-year-old model, who has been fired from her agency Elite Models over her hateful remarks, admits she lied about her identity to avoid backlash for her transphobia.

AceShowbiz - Carissa Pinkston has probably done an irreversible massive damage to her own character with her shocking statements. The 20-year-old model falsely lied that she's a transgender after going under fire for making transphobic comments.

Carissa first upset everyone in May when she posted on Facebook that "Being Transgender does NOT make you a woman. It makes you simply Transgender." She doubled down on her offensive remark by adding in another post, "Being Transgender does make you a Woman in a Transgender context according to gender and not sex. This is how they want to be perceived. In a biological context there are Females and Males. This is the world in 2019."

Carissa drew backlash with her inflammatory statements and as the result, she was dropped from her agency Elite Models. During her time with the agency, she modeled for brands like Marc Jacobs and Coach.

Instead of apologizing, Carissa then made a shocking confession that she's a transgender herself. "I wasn't ready to come out about it yet, but today I got fired and I've been receiving hate mail and death threats ever since, so I'm being forced to tell the truth. I'm Transgender," so she claimed earlier this month. "I transitioned at a very young age and I've lived my Life as a Female ever since."

Trying to justify her earlier comments, she said, "It's been very hard to keep this secret but what I said about Trans-Women is a direct reflection of my inner insecurities and I have since come to realize that I am a Woman... WE ALL ARE!"

But her claim backfired as some people, who knew her personally, accused her of lying about her gender. Model Aaron Philip, who is transgender, tweeted about Carissa, "imagine being a model who got exposed for being a raging transphobe/saying extremely transphobic s**t in the past and then resorting to LYING ABOUT BEING TRANSGENDER ONLINE FOR CLOUT IN ATTEMPT TO SAVE YOUR CAREER...? i know this person irl and she is SO CISGENDER?? Y’ALL I-?"

Fellow model Aleece Wilson, who previously worked with Carissa on a Nike shoot, also called out Carissa for "lying to thousands of people" about her identity. "I've seen baby pictures of Carrissa , I've seen her fully naked , I've been around this women long enough to fully know her," Aleece insisted. "We have many trans friends this conversation would have definitely been brought up. (sic)"

Maintaining her claim, Carissa hit back at Aleece, "It's sad because I really thought you were my friend."

Meanwhile, people began to question which claim is true. "Okay so an Insta Model Carissa Pinkston came out as FTM after posting 'Trans Females aren't women' on facebook few weeks before?? + some of their friends are already saying they are lying. I am confused," one Twitter user shared.

However, it wasn't long before Carissa changed her statement and admitted that she lied about her identity to avoid backlash for her transphobic comments. "I apologize for any transphobic remark I've ever made towards the Trans community. I panicked and I thought if I came out as Trans that I could somehow make things better for myself but it appears I've only made things worse," she said on Saturday, July 27. "I'm truly sorry. I'm only 20 and I'm human. I make mistakes but I refuse to let them define me. I hope you all can forgive me and move on from this because I'm so much more than this incident and I'm not a coward."

Carissa also took to Instagram Stories to reflect on her mistakes, writing along with photos of herself with "Euphoria" star Hunter Schafer, "I hate to do this because this doesn't concern her but, me being 'Transphobic' is stupid. I been friends with Hunter way before all these comments and now she won't even talk to me."

Following the madness that she started, Carissa has deleted all her of her posts but screenshots of her comments have been going around online.
