Bow Wow Faces Backlash for Throwing Shade at Ex Ciara During Atlanta Show

Taking the stage at Eleven 45 in the city, the 'Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta' star pauses his performance of 'Like You' to say, 'I had this b***h first,' referring to the 'Level Up' singer.

AceShowbiz - It's been more than a decade since Bow Wow and Ciara were in a romantic relationship, but it looks like the former is still finding it hard to forget about the songstress. The rapper has been under fire after a video of him taking a shot at the "Level Up" singer surfaced online.

The clip was taken during his performance at Eleven 45 in Atlanta, where he was delivering several songs including the exes' collaboration "Like You". In the middle of the rendition, Bow Wow paused for a bit to say, "I had this b***h first," reminding people that they used to date before she happily wedded Russell Wilson.

People, obviously, were not here for the shade, telling the "Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta" star to move on already. Even T.I. couldn't help but comment, "Damn Cuzz... just damn!" Someone said, "Wait what that was so unnecessary and was like almost 20 years ago," while another wrote, "That's someone's whole wife go head get your head knocked off LIL BOW WOW."

"His biggest accomplishment are the women he's dated. He's letting that be known such a dweeb," one other said of the 32-year-old. An individual thought what he did during the show was "sad," adding, "Just shows he's still miserable. Ciara got a man sent from the lord and a whole combined Bag more than bow wow."

Ciara and Bow Wow dated for a while back in 2004, before calling it quits two years later amid rumors of him cheating on her with multiple women. In an episode of "Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta", Bow Wow revealed that they were actually engaged at some point. "I was engaged to Ciara and I was engaged to Erica [Mena]. You know I let things in the past that I know I was wrong affect my engagements," he revealed at the time.
