The 'Wrecking Ball' singer's sister Brandi Cyrus, who was also on the flight, reveals their dramatic ride en route to the U.K. for the Glastonbury Festival during which their plane almost hit another plane in the sky.

AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus' performance at the U.K.'s Glastonbury Festival last month might be without a glitch, but her travel to the country wasn't a smooth sailing. Her sister Brandi Cyrus just revealed that her family had a terrifying experience during their flight to the country across the pond.

In the latest episode of "Your Favorite Thing" podcast, Brandi shared with co-host Wells Adams that she joined her sister Miley and their mother Tish Cyrus on the plane. When they were about to land, they had a mid-air scare as their plane almost hit another plane in the sky.

"Our plane tried to land twice and had to come back up because there were other planes in our way," Brandi recalled. "Out of nowhere, as we're landing, we swoop back up and like bang to the left and turn. It feels crazy."

Brandi said Miley and their mom started "losing their minds" and things got a bit dramatic. "Miley's in my lap, my mom's holding my hand across the aisle and nobody is telling us what's going on," she went on sharing. "A full five minutes go by and we're clearly going all the way back up and they finally come back and tell us, 'No need to panic but somebody was in our lane in the sky and we were going to hit them.' That's terrifying to think about."

But that's not the end of their scary plane ride. "After 10 minutes of circulating us around, they go back to land again-same frickin thing happens!" Brandi recounted. "My mom starts crying and goes, 'If we die, Noah is alone' and freaking out. I'm trying to hold it together for everybody."

"It was really crazy," the 32-year-old singer/DJ added. "If I didn't have to be the strong person in the group, I would have been scared but my mom and Miley were really losing it. It was pretty insane."

The flight attendants then explained to the cabin that it was happening because "it's just so busy because of the festival." Seemingly baffled by such mix-up, Brandi said, "We're like, hello, you guys knew how many planes were landing today, there's a schedule, why is this happening? Like it was very scary."
