AceShowbiz - Not everyone is welcoming after Lil Nas X comes out of the closet. He has been facing backlash from those who are not thrilled with his sexuality, with many of them vowing not to listen to his mega hit "Old Town Road" after knowing that he's gay. However, the criticism doesn't faze him in the slightest bit as he continues to make light of the situation.

Nas joked on Twitter, "Just got news that I'm gay and I will no longer be streaming my music. I'm sorry that s**t is just not ok." The "Panini" rapper latter added in another tweet, "Next n***a to say something offensive to me getting kissed."

Not only on the micro-blogging site, but Nas also took to his Instagram account to respond to the criticism. Alongside a picture of a frowning cowboy emoji holding a gun, he wrote, "Say one more home of phobic thing to me."

Several celebrities have come to voice their support for the rapper, including Dwyane Wade and Diplo. The former basketball player said, "Focus on all the good in your life. Don't allow these fools get to you. It's a lot of us out here proud of who and what you represent," while the record producer simply told Nas, "We love you tho."

Prior to this, Miley Cyrus also showed love and support for Nas, posting a photo of them together along with a caption that read, "SO proud of my baby brother @lilnasx. In your corner forever my friend!"

Nas come out as gay on the final day of Pride month, asking people to listen to his "7" track "C7osure". Some fans suggested that the line "This is what I gotta do, can't be regrettin' when I'm old" on the track is about Nas being open to public about his sexuality. Later, he posted another tweet which read, "deada** thought I made it obvious," along with the cover of his album which features rainbow lights on a building.
