AceShowbiz - Valee recently sent fans into frenzy after he posted a video on Instagram of his small dog. And now, it seems like PETA has caught wind of the Chicago rapper's controversial action and the animal-right organization is clearly not happy with it.

Valee later took to his Twitter account on Friday, June 28 to share a letter that PETA sent to his representative. In the letter, PETA wrote, "Valee should know that putting dye on animals is extremely dangerous. Although the dye used on Valee's dog was reportedly non-toxic and vegan, no animal has a natural desire to be dyed."

PETA also criticized Valee's decision to share "this content" on social media as it "could encourage his fans to dye their animals, putting them in potentially life-threatening situations." The letter continued, "If he would consider removing this content across his social media accounts, it could literally save lives. Is there any way he could do that?"

The organization echoed the sentiments in a statement to XXL. "Dogs are smart, complex animals, not toys. There is no safe way to dye a dog or any other animal, as there will always be risks of toxic poisoning or allergic reactions that can prove fatal to the animal. Putting a dog's health at risk by treating a companion animal like a novelty trinket is both unethical and unnecessary," it said.

Despite the warning, Valee appeared to downplay it. "PETA on my head. My dog do'n jus fine," so he tweeted.

However, PETA is not the only one who is bothered with the fact that Valee dyed his dog as Internet users slammed him in the comment section of his initial post of his dog. "All the damn skilled artists that could've photoshopped this poor baby. The ignorance...," one commented wrote.

"You f***ed him up why he walking like thatr [sic]," another user said, noting that the puppy walked rather uncomfortable on the hot asphalt. Meanwhile, one person accused Valee of clout chasing, writing, "Anything for C L O U T."
