AceShowbiz - Given how often Chrissy Teigen is criticized on social media, the supermodel begins to expect them whenever she posts something online. Thus, when a number of naysayers came at her for being so late to take her daughter Luna to a dentist for the first time, she already prepared some words to clap back at them.

The mom-shamers were reacting to a video that the cookbook author shared on Instagram. It featured Luna brushing a stuffed animal's teeth while sitting on her grandmother's lap. "So proud of my toons at her first dentist appointment!" Chrissy wrote in the caption of the post.

"What age do they start over there? My daughter started seeing a dentist at a yr old," one responded as someone else chimed in, "I've always heard at least by age 1 or within 6 months after the first tooth erupts. Luna definitely should have seen a dentist multiple times by now as kids should go twice a year!"

Chrissy wasn't surprised at all to see the criticism that she got. In fact, she "was waiting for this." The "Lip Sync Battle" co-host added in her response, "You guys never fail me."

Judging by her response, it's safe to say that Chrissy has grown used to dealing parent-shamers. But her husband John Legend is the opposite and he believes he should receive it too since they are raising their children together. Recalling the time when his wife got mom-shamed for going out just two weeks after Luna was born, "The Voice" coach said in an interview, "But they didn't critique me."

"Hopefully people are learning that Chrissy and I are a partnership and if you're going to parent-shame us, do it to us as a partnership," he continued. "I think it's hard for women to have equiality when it comes to the workplace or any other aspect of life if they aren't able to share some of the parenting duties with their male partners."
