AceShowbiz - Model Shanina Shaik has split from her husband DJ Ruckus after just over a year of marriage.
The Victoria's Secret beauty wed the music star in April 2018 on a private island in The Bahamas belonging to Lenny Kravitz. However, 14 months later, the couple's union has come to an end.
"After careful thought and consideration, Shanina Shaik and (Ruckus) have decided to separate," a representative told E! News. "They move forward with much mutual respect and love for each other, and ask to please respect their privacy during this time."
According to reports, things "began to go awry" for the pair back in March, with their busy schedules making it hard for them to spend time together.
"They haven't really been together for a while," the insider added. "They're really being pulled in different directions."
Despite their split, the former couple are said to be on good terms, with the divorce "expected to be a smooth one", according to the New York Post's gossip column Page Six.
News of the split comes just two months after Ruckus, real name Gregory Andrews, praised his wife for her stunning Maxim magazine cover shoot.
Sharing a snap of the cover on Instagram in April, Shanina wrote: A dream come true!! YOUR MAY/JUNE COVERGIRL FOR @maximmag PHOTOGRAPHED BY THE AMAZING @gilles_bensimon out on magazine stands now xx."
In response to the gorgeous shot, Ruckus replied: "Get em baby! GET EMMMM!!!"
And just a month earlier, Shanina had admitted she was looking forward to having children with her other half, saying in an interview: "I'm thinking about a family and when to settle down."
