AceShowbiz - Scott Disick has been dating Sofia Richie for quite some time now and a new report has revealed what makes their relationship work. According to a source, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star warned his model girlfriend about how close he is with his three kids and ex Kourtney Kardashian before they took their relationship further.

"When Sofia signed up to be with Scott, Scott laid it all out there about his ex and the kids and the Kardashians and the way their dynamic works," the source close to the family spills to HollywoodLife.com. "They're close. They're eternally family and Sofia gets and respects that. It's one of the many reasons Scott and Sofia work so well together."

Sofia indeed has proved that she is willing to accept it and even includes herself in some of family events. Just recently, the 20-year-old joined them for Scott's 36th birthday party which was attended by Kourtney, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner among others. The kids were also at the bash as Scott also had a fun little dance party for all of them including his sons Mason and Reign as well as niece North.

"He's so happy that there's no drama between Sofia and Kourtney," another source says of the self-proclaimed Lord. "He has put in a lot of effort to get everyone to this good place, and now it’s to the point where everyone is on board and it just feels natural to everyone."

The source continues, "Sofia was more than happy to celebrate Scott's birthday with Kourt and her family." In one of the photos taken in the party's photo booth, the model also posed with Kylie. "Sofia has been friends with Kylie since they were kids and she grew up around their family," shares the source.

Sofia and Scott started dating in the summer of 2017. Their relationship didn't last long at the time as they split a year later only to get back together. The couple has been going strong ever since.
