AceShowbiz - The 2019 Billboard Music Awards has officially started! Kicking off the annual event that took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Wednesday, May 1 was Taylor Swift, who joined forces with her "ME!" collaborator Brendon Urie to debut live performance of the hit song.

Pink-clad marching band opened the performance before the former country singer showed up to the stage and started belting out the song. Opting for a one-shoulder colorful mini dress, she sang, "I know that I'm a handful, baby/ I know I never think before I jump/ And you're the kind of guy the ladies want." A group of female dancers, who wore pastel-colored suits, then joined the songstress onstage, delivering the same dance routine they performed in the music video.

Recreating the scene in the visuals, Brendon came to the stage by flying with an umbrella in tow. The collaborators proceeded to harmonize for the rest of the performance, sitting on a flying umbrella prop as they made their way to the center of the stage.

Prior to taking the stage, Taylor said to Entertainment Weekly that the performance would be a recreation of the record-breaking music video. "Well basically it's a fun explosion of glitter, pastel colors, and people flying through the air," the "Look at What You Made Me Do" singer explained. "It's pretty much carrying out the landscape of the music video into the MGM Grand Las Vegas."

"Me!" was released on April 26, along with its accompanying music video. Besides the Panic at the Disco frontman, the visuals also featured her three cats, Olivia Benson, Dr. Meredith Grey and the new addition Benjamin Button. Talking about the filming of the music video, Taylor said she had the most fun shooting the fighting scene. "We laughed so hard trying to get our [French] pronouncation right and trying to keep the cats on the couch. It was a blast, and we actually just posted a behind the scenes video so you can see it!" she said.
