Through the visuals for her new single, which is produced by Zane Lowe, the rising hip-hop star successfully turns a cooking show into a horror show in a split second.

AceShowbiz - Cooking shows usually inspire people to improve their skills and cook more delicious food, but it's safe to say that Tierra Whack's one is not. Through her "Unemployed" music video, which made its way out on Tuesday, April 9, the rising hip-hop star has successfully turned a cooking show into a horror show in a split second.

The beginning of the video actually looks pretty normal, with Tierra chopping potatoes in a kitchen. But when it turns out that the potatoes are actually living and even able to talk and see, the nearly-three-minute visuals immediately takes a terrifying turn as the raptress continues to smash and slice them up without a care.

It gets worse once the video reaches its latter half, where Tierra has finally done cooking and is ready to serve it for her customers. This is because the ones who get to eat the potato dishes are two giant potato beasts. The beasts are seen talking while eating their own kinds, clearly enjoying it.

As for the song itself, it features her self-affirming against those that she classifies as her enemies. "Havin' flashbacks, where yo' past at?/ Where the cash at? Ayo, pass that/ I will stab backs just for bags, racks," she spits on the Zane Lowe-produced track. "Front on me and I'll punch yo' a** flat/ Are you okay? Please don't ask that."

Beginning her career in 2015, Tierra is best known for her debut album "Whack World", which received widespread critical acclaims following its release in May 2018. Robert Christgau gave the album an A-minus, while Pitchfork gave it an 8 out of 10 score. The music video for its single "Mumbo Jumbo" received a nomination for Best Music Video at the 2019 Grammy Awards. Tierra is expected to perform at many festivals this year, including Coachella.
