Giovanni Arnold, who accused the Migos rapper of ordering an attack on him at The Mark Hotel in 2018, is asking the judge to order the husband of Cardi B to pay for unspecified damages.

AceShowbiz - A man suing rapper Offset over a beatdown he allegedly suffered last year (2018) is seeking a default judgement against the Migos star.

Offset and his then-pregnant wife Cardi B were leaving a Met Gala afterparty at The Mark Hotel in New York in May, 2018, when they were approached by Giovanni Arnold, who tried to get close to obtain their autographs.

The couple refused, and the 27-year-old was accused of ordering three security guards to attack Arnold, reportedly leaving him with face, neck, back, and body injuries.

Arnold sued for unspecified damages, prompting Cardi's lawyers to fire back at the allegations, insisting she had nothing to do with the reported attack.

Members of her defence team have requested to have the case dismissed, but Offset has apparently been ignoring the suit, and now the disgruntled autograph hunter is asking the judge overseeing the case to rule in his favour and order the father of four to pay up, according to TMZ.

Offset has yet to comment on the motion.

The case against Cardi is still ongoing.
