According to a source, the ex-husband of Phaedra Parks will not join the show alone as he will bring along his fiancee Sherien to participate in the new season of the show.

AceShowbiz - One cast member of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is reportedly returning soon. A new report suggests that it has been confirmed that Apollo Nida will be back to the Bravo reality show after getting released from prison this fall.

According to MTO news, he will not join the show alone as he will bring along his fiance Sherien to participate in the new season of the show. Sherien apparently has hinted that she had signed a deal with Bravo. Posting a picture of a cup of tea, she wrote, "Y'all ready for some tea ??'"

The ex-husband of Phaedra Parks was initially scheduled to be released in August 2020. However, his prison sentence got reduced for one year from 96 months to 84 months thanks to his acceptance into a program for non-violent offenders. Apollo was previously sentenced to eight years in prison for fraud and identity theft in 2014.

Apollo is currently incarceated at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. It was the same federal correctional institution where Joe Giudice, Teresa Giudice's husband, began his 41-month prison sentence in March 2016.

Prior to this, it was reported that producers of "RHOA" were in negotiations to bring back Apollo for the nest season of the show. It was said that "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" and Apollo had closed the deal already with him signing on to join the next season. The insider claimed, "It's a done deal."

Additionally, producers also reportedly want his estranged wife return to the show. However, they allegedly faced difficulties in trying to get her sign on the deal as Phaedra has moved on. Furthermore, the 45-year-old reportedly had a "little interest in coming back to the 'Atlanta Housewives'."
