AceShowbiz - "90 Day Fiance" stars Karine and Paul Staehle are officially parents now. The couple, whose love story is documented on the TLC series, has welcomed their first child, a baby boy, who is named Pierre Martins Staehle.

The child was born in Manaus, Brazil on Friday, March 22 at 3:20 P.M., weighing 6.9 pounds and measuring at 19.7 inches. Confirming the good news, Paul says, "I'm very happy, very excited." He adds, "I'm also very nervous and want to do everything the best that I can and do everything right."

He goes on sharing, "Everyone keeps asking how it feels to be a dad. Anyone can make a baby, but going through the day-to-day process of being a father is going to be a new experience. I'm very happy, very honored and very privileged and I want to make sure I do my absolute best for Pierre."

Meanwhile, the new mom reveals that she has had a "hard time" after the baby's birth. "I am fine, and happy, even with the hard time I have had," the 23-year-old reality TV star admits. "And I am recovering well, but I am still very weak. It was super hard, but now everything is fine because the baby is calm and he is breastfeeding well."

Karine . I am very blessed to have the honor and privilege to call you my wife. I thank god every day that he lead us both down the very crazy broken roads that ended with us meeting in the middle. While our road is still crazy we will navigate through this crazy journey of life now together. The road may get bumpy and have many unexpected surprises. But together we will stay on track. As we add our children to our current path who will one day grow up and take their own unique roads of life. I will forever be by your side until our road ends and if mine ends before yours. In spirit I will be with you to guard guide and watch over you until you too also finaly safely meet your destination. Happy one year wedding anniversary ❤

"The first miscarriage was very early on," Paul told Us Weekly after Karine got pregnant for the third time. "We weren't really that attached. Right after that second miscarriage went through, we got pregnant again. It was like, boom, boom. That was the one everyone saw on TV."

He went on sharing, "The next pregnancy, she was actually prescribed birth control, and she was taking a supplement to feel better. We were supposed to wait six months to a year. So, we were gonna wait, give it time in regards to that. We've actually heard things where if we had the baby within six months it's actually better. I was like, OK, whenever you're ready. She got pregnant within a few months. She was in denial."
