The 'Dark Phoenix' actress and the 'Hello' hitmaker mingle with gays and crash a drag show at a New York gay club.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lawrence and Adele had a blast at a gay club on Friday night, March 22. The two stars had a wild night out as they appeared to be celebrating the actress' engagement at gay bar Pieces in New York City.

The 28-year-old Oscar-winning actress and the 30-year-old Grammy-winning singer got raucous at the bar, where they took part in some drinking games, hosted by drag performers. Taking the stage to join a game, Adele was asked what she does for a living. "I'm actually currently a stay-at-home-mum," she said.

When asked if she was single or taken, she confirmed that she was married. "But are you still ready to mingle and have a great time with the gays tonight?" the MC asked, to which Adele replied, "F***ing obviously!"

Adele, who was wearing an all-black ensemble, lost in a game of musical shots. Jennifer playfully tackled the British songstress to the ground for losing at the game. "How could you lose!" she shouted at the "Skyfall" singer. The MC jokingly reminded her, "Jennifer, this isn't 'The Hunger Games'!" as the crowd erupted with laughter and cheer.

Jennifer also volunteered to play the game. "If Jennifer wants to come and play, she's more than welcome," one of the drag queens said. Adele joked that Jennifer is "f***ing engaged," adding, "You're not even relevant to be here!" The "Silver Linings Playbook" star, who got engaged to Cooke Maroney earlier this year, replied, "That has nothing to do with my drinking abilities!"

Sharing a picture of Adele and Jennifer's visit to the gay bay on Instagram Stories, one of the performers Brita Filter wrote, "That time that I walked into my bar for my show and Jennifer Lawrence was sitting down, and she's like, 'We came to see your show.' And then Adele walks in and says, 'We heard that you were the best.' Aaaaaah! Aaaaaah!"

Brita, whose real name is Jesse Havea, also dished on the chance encounter with the two stars to Fox5, "Two people I look up to so much, especially Adele. Like that's wild. It was wild to me!" He added, "This is our safe space, and it's so nice to see two people the gay community looks up to in our space, partying with us."

Jennifer reportedly arrived first. Patron Cameron Keady, who stood nearby, noticed the actress. "So we tried to keep our cool and I kept my back to her but casually kept looking over," he said. The actress was then followed by Adele. "I think we were all just stunned," Cameron shared. "This is Pieces, our local neighborhood gay bar."

Brita went gushing about how generous the "Someone Like You" hitmaker was. "I was performing my show and it's customary to tip your queens," she said. "So they started pulling out $50 bills, and honey, I knew I was going to be 'Rolling in the Deep', when that started happening."

Jennifer and Adele first met at the 2013 Oscars, where the latter won an award for best song for "Skyfall" which she co-wrote for the James Bond film of the same name. "I remember sneaking backstage while she performed 'Skyfall', trying to squeeze a ball gown past a pile of ropes and cables just to get a little closer. See her from another angle as if to peek behind the Great Oz's curtain," Jennifer wrote about her friend in Time's 2016 100 Most Influential People issue. "I had been a fan of hers since 'Chasing Pavements' (saying 'fan' about Adele always sounds like an understatement, doesn't it?)"

"We all see her success. Her undeniable talent and beauty," she went on gushing about Adele. "But what you don't see is what a wonderful mother she is. What a wonderful partner and friend she is. That she makes her son's Halloween costumes. Adele is a gift, an international treasure, but she's also sweet, funny, intelligent and beautiful. B***h."
