Posting a candid shot of the 'Mission: Impossible - Fallout' actor, personal trainer Nick Lower reveals that the actor hit the gym for the past six months for a role in his upcoming thriller movie.

AceShowbiz - Simon Pegg has debuted a dramatic transformation, after drastically altering his look for a movie role.
In order to prepare himself for the upcoming thriller "Inheritance (2020)", the 49-year-old star has been hitting the gym for the past six months, with the help of personal trainer Nick Lower.
Lower revealed in a post on Twitter that Pegg was required to shed a large amount of body fat for his role as Morgan alongside co-stars Lily Collins, Chace Crawford and Connie Nielsen.
"The brief for this role was lean, VERY lean. It required a specific body shape and look.," the personal trainer shared on Twitter, with a candid snap of Pegg laughing as he showed off his lean six pack.

Lower added that the "Mission: Impossible - Fallout" star did a combination of strength training with circuits and core work, along with 60 km trail runs per week. Pegg also lost nearly 10 kg, and almost half of his body fat.

Pegg's Twitter account, which is run by his assistant, also shared Lower's post, and jokingly added that "occasional mild grumpiness" was another side effect of his training.
