As reports of the 'Empire' star staging his hate crime attack continue to swirl, the 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker takes to social media to explain why she is 'really disappointed' in him.

AceShowbiz - Cardi B has blamed Jussie Smollett for ruining Black History Month, as questions continue to swirl about the "Empire" star's recent alleged attack.

The actor hit headlines last month (January 2019), after he was apparently set upon by two men outside his apartment in Chicago, with the pair attacking him, tying a noose around his neck and pouring a chemical substance over him. Police in Chicago are currently investigating the incident, but rumours have been rife about the validity of Jussie's claims, amid reports that he knew the two men and paid them to stage the attack because his character was about to be written off the hit U.S. TV show.

Jussie has denied claims he orchestrated the attack, but "Bodak Yellow" star Cardi insisted in a live stream on Instagram on Monday night, February 18, that regardless of whether or not his allegations are true, the 36-year-old screen star "f**ked up" Black History Month - which runs in the U.S. in February.

"So, I'm really disappointed in Jussie Smollett, whatever the f**k his name is. I'm really disappointed in him. I feel like he f**ked up Black History Month, bro," she began.

Adding that she's giving the actor the benefit of the doubt, for now, Cardi continued: "I'm not gonna say...yet, until he said out his mouth that it was fake and this s**t was staged. I don't wanna completely blame him, because, you know, like, somebody that I was talking to, they said, like, you know, 'Police in Chicago are racist.' So they might probably tryna frame him and make him look like he's a liar."

Jussie also told police that the alleged perpetrators shouted "This is MAGA country" as they attacked him, referencing controversial U.S. president Donald Trump and his campaign of "Make America Great Again".

And Cardi concluded that if Jussie's story does turn out to be false, Trump will use it as fodder, adding: "You got Donald Trump immunity to f**king laugh and make motherf**kers look bad."

Cardi isn't the only star to have doubts about Jussie's attack tale. Snoop Dogg also weighed in on the situation on Monday when he shared the famous image of O.J. Simpson being chased by police who wanted to question him about the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman, with Jussie's face photoshopped over O.J.'s. Snoop left the snap uncaptioned as he shared it on Instagram.
