AceShowbiz - Ashley Tisdale has given another taste from her forthcoming album. Following the release of "Voices in My Head", the former Disney darling unearthed its follow-up entitled "Love Me & Let Me Go" on Thursday, January 24.

On the infectious song, Ashley sings about breaking free from depression by using a toxic lover as a metaphor for the mental health issue. "Thank you for the bad times and the land mines/ And them feelings that came like a landslide/ Talkin' down my mind each night," she rhymes. "Thank you for the dark says and the tidal waves/ Making real life feel so sideways/ Reeling in the wild, wild ride."

She previously said of the new song, "I think it's easy to think that we all live perfect lives because of social media but it's so important to also share that no one lives a perfect life we all have different issues and struggles. Anxiety is so acceptable now but there is still a stigma around depression and I want to break that."

"Love Me & Let Me Go" is the second song off her upcoming album "Symptoms". While the release date and its full tracklist have yet to be released, Ashley previously confirmed that there would be songs called "Vibrations" and "Insomnia" on the album. She also said that her album would discuss her mental health struggles.

"I wanted to make someone at home feel less alone in their journey," she explained. "It's hard to be vulnerable. It's scary, but I think that it's important to share what I've been through, and say that I'm human and I go through those things too."

"Symptoms" will mark her first album in nine years, following her 2009 album "Guilty Pleasure". Receiving mixed reviews from music critics, her sophomore album debuted at No. 12 on Billboard 200 chart.
