One day after being reported to be joining the movie adaptation of 'Monopoly', the 'Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle' is said to have signed on to star in a movie based on Matt Logelin's memoir.

AceShowbiz - Kevin Hart has signed on to star in the adaptation of Matt Logelin's memoir "Two Kisses For Maddy: A Memoir Of Loss & Love".

The book centres on Logelin's life after losing his wife to a pulmonary embolism, following the birth of their daughter. Paul Weitz will direct "Fatherhood" from a script written by Dana Stevens, while Hart will produce under his HartBeat company.

According to Deadline, the moviemakers are currently searching for a young actress to play Hart's daughter in the film.

"When I started reading this script, I was immediately touched and brought to tears," a statement from the actor reads. "At HartBeat, we seek to provide the audience with stories that evoke true emotions and this story does just that. Our hope is to bring honor to the Logelin family, and we are thrilled to be working with Sony, Paul, Temple Hill and Free Association on such an incredible project."

The movie news comes one day after it was reported Hart will reunite with his "Ride Along" director Tim Story for a film based on classic board game "Monopoly".

However, "Fatherhood" will be the next movie for the 39-year-old following the "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" sequel.
