The 'Umbrella' hitmaker reminds the said fan of her previous comment after the latter disses her for focusing too much on her makeup brand Fenty Beauty.

AceShowbiz - Even though Rihanna has previously announced that she won't be releasing new music until next year, there are still fans who demand it from her, to the point where they even slam her. Unsurprisingly enough, Rih won't just let those kind of fans have the last laugh and comes back with her own perfect response.

It all started after the "Umbrella" hitmaker shared on Instagram a photo of her modeling a new lip shade from her cosmetics line, Fenty Beauty. "shade: F'N BLACK. out now," so she captioned the pic which featured her sporting a black lipstick and a matching top. The singer let her curly locks down and messy.

Rather than raving about the new lip shade, one particular fan opted to urge Rih to release new music instead of makeup in the comment section. "I need music, no make up," so the said fan wrote, to which the "Work" singer simply replied by reminding the fan that 2019 hasn't come just yet. "It's still 2018," she answered.

Rih previously gave an update on her upcoming album on the photo-sharing platform, replying to a curious fan that new music would be coming in 2019. She didn't give further details about the effort, though her vocal producer, Kuk Harrell, revealed earlier this month that the Fenty Beauty founder's new music is "incredible."

When asked about an update on the upcoming work during a Q&A session on Instagram Live, Kuk said, " 'R9' is amazing. It's incredible. And that's all I'm going to say."

The new album will be a follow-up to her latest effort "ANTI" which was released in 2016.

Rih has been keeping busy with all sorts of ventures in recent month. In addition to working on her beauty brand, she landed her first major acting role in "Ocean's 8" which was released in June. She's also currently working on "Guava Island" with Donald Glover.
