Having to shoot the Brady Corbet-directed drama film a block away from her old high school, the 'Annihilation' actress notices her guidance counsellor among the crowd.

AceShowbiz - Natalie Portman shot a concert scene for her new movie "Vox Lux" a block away from her old high school.

The actress portrays an outrageous rocker in the new film and found herself before cameras in a very familiar part of Long Island, New York.

"It was really funny because they opened a studio around the corner, literally a block from where I went to high school, and that's where we filmed the concert," she said.

Natalie, who graduated from Syosset High School in Syosset in 1999, spotted a few familiar faces in the audience: "My guidance counsellor from my school came with all her girlfriends and their kids to be extras in the audience. It really felt like a homecoming."
