The younger sister of Miley Cyrus reveals on Instagram that she's getting a surgery to remove her tonsils 'after years and years of struggling with tonsil issues.'

AceShowbiz - Noah Cyrus had undergone a successful tonsil removal surgery. Hours after uploading a video on her social media announcing that she will go under the knife, the younger sister of Miley Cyrus updated her fans with good news.

"My surgery this morning was a success," the youngest daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus posted on Instagram on Friday, December 7 along with a black-and-white picture of her sitting on her bed. "Goodbye s****y tonsils and f**k you!" In the same post, she also expressed her gratitude to family, friends and fans who had sent her their love.

The day before, Noah uploaded a short clip in which she informed her fans about undergoing the procedure to remove her tonsils. "Won't be able to talk because tomorrow I'm having my tonsils removed and finally having surgery after years and years of struggling with tonsil issues, and my tonsils sucking at being tonsils," she explained.

Her announcement was quick to draw reactions from her older sisters, Miley and Brandi Cyrus. While Miley only liked her video, Brandi wished her a speedy recovery. "Sending up all the prayers to my lil @noahcyrus for a smooth and quick recovery from surgery. Get better soon Young Nicki LUV U," the "Cyrus vs. Cyrus: Design and Conquer" co-host posted on her own account along with a photo of them on a beach.

This was not the first time Noah shared her health issue with the world. Back in August, Noah talked about her battle with depression and anxiety. Speaking of her new EP "Good Cry", she told L'Officiel USA magazine, "This EP is mostly just about how my emotions have been, and about my anxiety, and about how I've been struggling with depression and how it's okay to feel those feelings."

"A lot of people like to judge you, and make fun of you on the internet, and people make you feel crazy whenever you're in a depression or having anxiety or having a panic attack," she continued. "It's about that and being sad and having your emotions and not being able to ignore the feelings you're having."
