AceShowbiz - Meghan Markle made Twitter go haywire with her homemade banana bread. Many are left deeply fascinated by the Duchess of Sussex's modest act in whipping up the loaf herself since she was in the midst of her jam-packed royal tour schedule in Australia.
On Wednesday, October 17, the former "Suits" star and her royal husband, Prince Harry, were invited to have a lunch with a family called the Woodleys at Mountain View farm in Dubbo, New South Wales. Since she didn't want to come empty handed, she made time on the evening before to personally bake the bread in the kitchen of Sydney's Admiralty House, where she has been staying.
Emily Carroll, a member of the five-generation farming family, gushed about the fact. "She said if you go to someone's house you always bring something, so she did," she spilled, before adding, "She said she was worried about the bananas, that she'd put too many bananas in it. But the Duke said there's never too many bananas."
Another family member, Elaine Woodley, also talked about Meghan's thoughtfulness. "We were so surprised but it was incredibly nice of her, she made it last night when she knew she was coming to a family home," she said. "How thoughtful of her." Her 20-year-old daughter, Benita, additionally claimed that the bread was delicious.
When Meghan's simple gesture was made public, Twitter users flocked to applaud her effort. Another user tweeted, "Meghan baked banana bread yesterday, she so thoughtful. I love baking for my family and people too. I love to have things in common with her." Julia Naughton of 9Honey also pointed out, "She carries her own coat, she bakes banana bread, she holds the umbrella for her man... Meghan Markle we are not worthy."
