Talking about his collections of tattoos on Jimmy Fallon's 'Tonight Show', the 'Rockstar' rapper reveals that he overcame his fear of getting a tattoo to prove he is tougher than the 'Sorry' singer.

AceShowbiz - Post Malone initially decided to get a tattoo to prove he was "way tougher" than Justin Bieber.
The "Rockstar" rapper, real name Austin Post, is covered in various pieces of body art, including inkings of a snake, a dagger, barbed wire and the words "always tired" on his face.
Commenting on his tattoos during an interview on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Monday night (October 01), Post shared that it was popstar Justin who inspired him to get his first piece of permanent ink - an image of the Playboy Bunny motif - while they were working on his 2016 debut album "Stoney" together.
"We were working on Stoney, and then we had a tattoo artist came through, and I was like, 'You know what? Justin Bieber's got some tatts, and I love you, but I know I'm way tougher than you,'" he recalled. "I was always so scared to get one and then I got one."
Post added that he didn't know why he chose to get the Playboy logo. But the original design was short-lived because Justin accidentally damaged the fresh inking during a game of basketball a couple of days after he had the tattoo done.
"I guess Justin was watching this interview in the future when I said I was tougher than him 'cause we played basketball like two days later and he knocked the whole thing off," the 23-year-old sighed. "It was just blood dripping down my hand. It kind of looks like my tattoo got dropped in lava, but I like the story anyways."
Elsewhere in the chat, Post spoke about how he decided on his stage name when he was a teenager.
"I was like 14 and I'd starting getting into producing, and rapping and singing over my own stuff, and I needed a name for my mixtape, so I ran (Austin Post) through a random rap name generator and I got Post Malone," he explained. "And now I'm stuck with it!"
