It is reported that the meeting between the former couple was a success as Jolie tried to make things work and Pitt was very ready for the offer.

AceShowbiz - Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are reportedly talking again in a bid to resolve their bitter co-parenting conflict.

The former couple has been at odds since Jolie filed for divorce in September, 2016, and she and Brad still haven't been able to agree to child custody terms regarding their six kids.

But now a source tells Entertainment Tonight, the exes recently set up a "secret meeting" at her house, and thrashed out terms.

"It's the first time they have truly gotten together to make things work since their group therapy with the children," the insider tells the news show. "Brad and Angie's meeting was a success. They are going to stay with the plan set forth through the courts.

"Angelina decided it was time to try to make things work and Brad was relieved and very ready for the offer. Brad has been dedicated to making peace throughout the process."

The news comes three months after Angelina was ordered by a judge to help repair her children's relationship with their father, and according to court documents obtained by ET at the time, the actor scored quality time with five of his children over the summer.

The pair's eldest son Maddox, 16, opted out of the agreement.

Then, in August, Jolie accused Pitt of failing to pay any "meaningful" child support for 18 months.

Pitt's lawyers filed their response a day later, insisting their client had paid his ex over $9 million (GBP6.85 million), since their 2016 split.
