The wife of Ryan Reynolds rocked a blue pantsuit at the French premiere of her new movie 'A Simple Favor' after a fashion editor criticized her similar outfits at recent public appearances.

AceShowbiz - Blake Lively isn't hanging up her suit despite criticism about her fashion choice at various public appearances. The 31-year-old beauty sported a fitted blue pantsuit featuring glittering black detailing, teamed with a black top and a maroon scarf, when attending the French premiere of her new movie "A Simple Favor" on Tuesday, September 18.
While her outfit that night was nothing too standout, it was quite a statement in the wake of a recent criticism addressed to her. Red Carpet Fashion Awards founder Catherine Kallon joked on Instagram that Blake wore her "suit number 1,356" after she showed up in a pink Ralph Lauren suit to the U.K. premiere of Paul Feig's noir thriller on Monday.
Clapping back at the comment, the "Gossip Girl" alum called out the fashion editor for promoting a "double standard." She responded in the comment section of the actual post, "Would you note a man wearing lots of suits during a promo tour? So why can't a woman? Just sayinnnn."
She added, "Just lookin' to encourage women to do what men do without being teased for it. Yes, even in a space as material as fashion. It all starts somewhere... and everyone's voice counts."
Catherine seemed to regret her initial comment as she reposted Blake's response and wrote in the caption, "The queen has spoken #NoDoubleStandards #WomenInSuits #WhenYourJokeDoesntBang."
