The commercial was so memorable for the Kings of Leon frontman that it helped him break the ice when they first met each other.

AceShowbiz - Rocker Caleb Followill struck up his first conversation with his now-wife, model Lily Aldridge, after recognising her from a famous Levi'S commercial.

The runway beauty previously starred opposite actor Jamie Dornan in the iconic denim label's Walk the Line ads in 2006, with each of the three promos set to the tune of country legend Johnny Cash's song I Walk The Line.

The TV spots were so memorable, they helped the Kings of Leon frontman break the ice with Lily when their paths first crossed more than a decade ago.

"(Walk the Line) was the first kind of thing I experienced where people would recognise me like, 'You're the girl from the Levi's commercial,'" the 32-year-old recalled in a promotional video for the brand's new Made Crafted campaign for the autumn/winter 2018 collection. "And my husband actually recognised me at Coachella (California music festival). He's like, 'That's the girl from the Levi's commercial.' He found me."

Lily and Caleb went on to wed in 2011, and are currently expecting their second child, a sibling for their six-year-old daughter Dixie.

The introduction to Caleb isn't the only family tie Lily has with Levi's - she also discovered a piece of retro work her late father, artist Alan Aldridge, had done for the company during a recent tour of the firm's archives with the Made Crafted collection's design director, Nicolle Arbour.

"You guys found a piece of my dad's art from the '70s. He did a Levi's ad and I had no idea," she smiled. "I was grateful to you guys to have this special moment. It was something I'll never forget."
