The rapper reveals he took a Directors Guild of America course prior to make his make his directorial debut.

AceShowbiz - Rapper 50 Cent had to take a Directors Guild of America course before he was allowed to step behind the cameras and take charge of an episode of hit drama Power.
The star, who appears in the gritty cable show, will make his directorial debut behind the scenes on an upcoming episode and admits he had to take lessons before producers signed off on the idea.
"It was a lot of fun," 50 tells Access Live, revealing his castmates and crew really helped him on the set.
"I've got a team full of people I felt a real comfortable situation with," he adds. "I know that they actually wanna see me win, so they helped me make the right decisions."
