Nicki warned Tiffany Haddish not to make fun of Normani after the comedienne took a jab at her group Fifth Harmony while presenting award at the show.

AceShowbiz - Singer Normani Kordei has thanked Nicki Minaj for sticking up for her after Tiffany Haddish made a joke about Fifth Harmony at the MTV Video Music Awards on Monday, August 20.
The Girls Trip star hit the stage with Kevin Hart to present the award for Best Hip Hop, and during her time onstage, she praised former Fifth Harmony star Camila Cabello for her five nominations and then took aim at her former bandmates, who split up earlier this year.
"She's nominated for five VMAs tonight," Haddish said. "I'm super proud of her, so those of you watching at home... Hi, Fifth Harmony!".
The comedians went on present the accolade to Nicki Minaj, who took the opportunity to chastise Tiffany for overstepping the line as she stood up for Fifth Harmony's Normani.
"Tiff, don't be coming for Normani 'cause Normani is that b**ch," Nicki declared. "I'm just saying!".
Kordei has since taken to Twitter to praise the rapper for her kind words.
"I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you," she wrote in a post to Minaj. "You perfect queen you! Thank you for lifting me up. God is real. Now y'all know I love me some Nickiiiiiiiiiiiiii. Congratulations on tonight!!! Proud of you always (sic)".

Fifth Harmony was formed as a five-piece on The X Factor in 2012. The group continued as a quartet after Camila's shock exit, but announced a hiatus in May, so Normani, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui could pursue solo careers. The other members have not responded to Tiffany's joke.
