AceShowbiz - Here comes the new danger! A first-look teaser for "Outlander" season 4 has been unearthed by Starz, featuring Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) arriving in North Carolina.
"In North Carolina, we can start anew," Jamie tells Claire in the beginning of the 55-second teaser. Later, the footage offers the first look at the famed River Run. Also glimpsed in the teaser is home to Jamie's aunt Jocasta (Maria Doyle Kennedy), who welcomes the pair at the River Run.
As expected, it won't be easy for Jamie and Claire to make their "make a home together" dream come true since a new danger arrives almost as soon as they set their feet in the new world. As someone throws a rock at their window, Jamie says, "It's not safe here."
"Be wary. Travelers in these woods are thieves and outlaws," Stephen Bonnet (Ed Speelers) tells Jamie and Claire. The scene later transitions to a scene where they encounter the Native Americans and the one which sees Claire stumbling upon a human skull with dental fillings. "It's a silver filling, something that won't be invented for another hundred years," she tells Jamie. "What if it was a warning from the future?"
The teaser concludes with the couple having a steamy moment. "Do you trust me?" Jamie asks Claire, who later responds, "With my life." They then seal their vows with a kiss.
The fourth season is based on "Drums of Autumn", the fourth book in Diana Gabaldon's book series. The production was recently wrapped in Scotland.
"Over the last three seasons, Jamie and Claire didn't know where they are going to live," executive producer Matthew B. Roberts previously told EW about the upcoming season, which theme is "home." Roberts added, "They never plant their feet. Now they're getting to that place that they can call home. But the meaning of home is different for people. That's what we will dig into in season 4."
Also starring Lauren Lyle, Cesar Domboy. Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin, season 4 of "Outlander" will premiere in November on Starz.
