The hip-hop mogul reveals that he had the thoughts after watching Alexander McQueen documentary.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West decided to share his feelings about suicide on his Twitter account on July 27. In a series of tweets, the 41-year-old rapper revealed that he had suicidal thoughts and he felt like he was connected to Alexander McQueen's life journey after he watched the late fashion designer's documentary.

"I saw the Alexander McQueen documentary and I connected with his journey," Kanye told his 27.9 million followers. "I know how it feels to want to take your life back into your own hands even if it means taking your own life."

The "Bound 2" hitmaker then continued his confession. "To make this clear and not weird I've had these kinds of thoughts," he wrote. "And I'm going to tell you things I've done to stay in a content place."

In the tweets, Kanye also shared his advice about how to prevent suicide. "How to NOT kill yourself pt. 1, avoid being around people who make you want to kill yourself," the controversial rapper wrote.

Unfortunately, he hasn't tweeted the part two yet. Instead, he posted some pictures of Yeezy shoes designs after his tweets about suicide. The Grammy Award winner previously admitted that he was diagnosed with a mental health condition at the age of 39. "I had never been diagnosed until I was 39," he said in an interview with radio personality Big Boy following his new album's listening party in Wyoming on May 31.

Despite the condition, Kanye optimistically considered his mental condition as a superpower to fuel his creativity. "Like I said on the album, it's not a disability, it's a superpower," he proudly said. Kanye didn't mention the name of his mental condition, but in his latest album "YE", the rapper mentioned about bipolar disorder, "I hate being bipolar it's awesome."
