AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato's family just wants the best for their loved one. Following her hospitalization for an apparent drug overdose, the songstress' family is reportedly looking into rehab facilities in hopes of checking her in right away.

"Demi is recovering and her loved ones are so incredibly thankful she has pulled through. They know how lucky she is to be alive and are relieved she's getting another chance," a source tells Entertainment Tonight. "Her family is going to do everything in their power to help get Demi back on track and are making plans to get her straight into rehab. She is a fighter and has beat this in the past, so they know she can live a clean and sober life again. Her mother is by her side."

The source goes on saying that her recent overdose has been "a traumatic experience" for her family as they have "been trying very hard to talk to her about her relapse, and in the last two weeks she wouldn't discuss it with them at all." The insider claims, "Their hands were tied because she is an adult and didn't want help. She has been going downhill for weeks, and between her past with drugs and her bipolar disorder, they felt helpless."

Her family is now allegedly planning to get Demi a "clean, safe place to heal" as they want to "get her the help that she so desperately needs." They are also planning to "keep her away from those people in her life that don't support a clean and sober future."

As reported before, Demi was rushed to a hospital after being found unconscious at a home in the Hollywood Hills. Her rep later confirmed in a statement that the singer is awake and surrounded by her family.

Prior to her overdose, another source reveals to PEOPLE that the "Sorry Not Sorry" singer was "on binger the entire night" along with her friends. "They keep Narcan on hand for such situations -- they were prepared for this," the insider adds. "The people she has been hanging out around lately aren't her real friends -- they don't have her best interest at heart. She's pushed her true friends away."

The insider further claims that Demi "had to find creative and sneaky ways to get drugs because her team and those that really care about her really try to keep a close watch on her."
