Although the racy photos gained millions of likes from her followers, Younes reportedly didn't like the idea of his famous girlfriend flaunting her assets on social media.

"He never liked that she posted sexy pictures of herself on social media," a source told PEOPLE. The source revealed that the former boxer wanted the reality TV star to post more covered up picture instead, adding, "He doesn't want his girlfriend to do that. He gets that it's her job, but wants her to post more covered up picture."

"He has always had a problem with this," the source said. "This is the stuff they argue about and what made them split in the past."

In one of the sexy photos, Kourtney was seen showing off her tanned skin and her major cleavage in a brown bikini as she ate Italian breads on a yacht. "Just finished my daily basket of focaccia...hbu?" the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star wrote in the caption.

In another picture, Kourtney showed off her bubbly butt in a flowery thong bikini. "Don't be shady, be a lady," she captioned it. Younes then mocked his girlfriend on the comment section. "That's what you need to show to get likes?" he commented on the photo, before he deleted it.

According to a source, Younes was always jealous of other men staring at his girlfriend's assets. "The idea of other dudes creeping over his girl gives him the creeps," the source revealed to Radar Online. "He's been dropping subtle hints about this for a while," the source added. "But Kourtney's ignored them all."

"Younes is way more conservative than he looks, and is a devout Muslim," the source said. "He's openly saying she needs to tone things down if she wants things to last with him in the long term."
