The Jackson patriarch has been laid to rest at Forest Lawn in Glendale, CA, where his son Michael Jackson is entombed.

AceShowbiz - Joe Jackson has been laid to rest in a private funeral. On Monday afternoon, July 2, the extended family members, including Janet Jackson, were spotted at the funeral held at Forest Lawn in Glendale, California. In some pictures obtained by TMZ, the "All for You" singer was seen carrying a little kid, who was possibly her son Eissa Al Mana.

Joe's son Michael Jackson was also laid to rest at Forest Lawn following his death in 2009. The late King of Pop is entombed in a mausoleum at the cemetery and it's safe to say that Joe's final resting place is nearby.

Joe passed away on June 27 at the age of 89 in hospice care in Las Vegas after battling pancreatic cancer. He had several health issues prior to his final moments, including a series of strokes in 2013 and another stroke in 2015. He also suffered three heart attacks. Earlier this year, he was hospitalized following a car crash in Las Vegas.

Following his passing, his family members paid tribute on social media. His daughter La Toya Jackson wrote, "I will always love you! You gave us strength, you made us one of the most famous families in the world. I am extremely appreciative of that, I will never forget our moments together and how you told me how much you cared. #RIP Joe Jackson."

His granddaughter and Michael's daughter Paris Jackson recalled her final moment with the Jackson patriarch. "Spending the last few moments with you were everything, being able to tell you everything I needed to tell you before saying goodbye was such a blessing," she wrote alongside a photo of her and Joe's hands entwined on a hospital bed.

She continued, "Everyone that came to visit you, came with love, respect and so much pride in their hearts for you. Proud of you, proud to be your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, proud to have your strength and share the dynasty you spent your life creating and proud to be a Jackson. You are the first true Jackson. The legend that started it all. None of us would be anywhere near where we're at if it weren't for you, you are the strongest man I know."

The 20-year-old model/actress went on saying that she would "cherish every moment with you til the day I die, especially our last moments." She added, "Being able to hold your hand, lay with you and cuddle you, give you kisses all over your cheeks and forehead, meant more to me than you'll ever know."

A public service will follow in the coming days.
