AceShowbiz - Cardi B was asking for pricey gifts for her unborn daughter ahead of baby shower. The expectant rapper recently worked on her baby registry and she reportedly added lavish items to the list, including a mini Bentley.
Sources tell TMZ that the 25-year-old hip-hop star, who is in her final month of pregnancy, included a battery-powered Bentley Bentayga, which walmart.com sells a version of for $480, on the list. She allegedly also asked for a BEABA Babycook set, which retails for $150 on amazon.com.
But those things are nothing compared to the $2,799 Moses bassinet Cardi's requesting, with an $839 extra fee for gold-leaf covering. She reportedly received all those items on her registry during her baby shower which took place in Atlanta over the weekend.
Cardi previously tweeted about preparing for the baby shower. "Doing my registry but I wanna add gifts for myself," she wrote on Twitter. "My baby think I need this Gucci dress. Let me stop... Ugh I'm so shleepy."
She admitted that planning for the baby shower was "overwhelming." She shared, "Baby shower planning makes me not even wanna do a wedding - soo overwhelming."
She added in another post on Wednesday, June 20, "I was planning to have 2 babyshowers ...One in NY and one in Atl but my doctor told me i can't fly nomore now i have to fly 60 people to Atlanta I always bragged about having 2 big families until now."
Cardi recently confirmed her secret marriage to Offset before their public proposal in October last month after a copy of their marriage certificate was published online. She revealed that they woke up on the morning of September 20 and decided to wed with "no dress, no makeup and no ring."
"We found someone to marry us, and she did, just the two of us and my cousin," Cardi recalled. "I said I do, with no dress, no makeup and no ring!" She added, "Well now since you lil nosey f**ks know at least ya can stop saying I had a baby out of wedlock (sic)."
