An outside adviser to the White House reveals the 'Black Skinhead' rapper along with several athletes are invited to the meetings with President Trump to discuss race issues in the U.S.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West is among a number of athletes and musicians reportedly invited to the White House to meet with President Donald Trump. Pastor Darrell Scott, an outside adviser to the White House, told People.com that the businessman turned politician has approved a series of meetings with famous faces to discuss race issues in the U.S.

"He (Trump) is 100 per cent for it," Scott told the website. "He was very enthusiastic about it." The Cleveland-based pastor said Kanye, along with former NFL star Colin Kaepernick, Evander Holyfield, Herschel Walker and Mike Tyson, will be attending the event. "It's not going to be a black-only event," Scott clarified. "It will be a melting pot."

Kaepernick is the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback who initiated a wave of protests by professional athletes in 2016 when he knelt during the national anthem before NFL games, as a protest against injustice towards African-Americans in the U.S.

Since Kanye praised Trump on Twitter, and the POTUS replied, the meeting has been brought forward, and attendees from both sides of the political spectrum have been invited. "We don't want to sanitize it. I want people from the left (Democrats) to attend. I want it to get heated but I want it to be respectful," the pastor explained. "I want them to see and know the Donald Trump I know and they will say, 'This guy isn't who I've been lead to believe he is.' "

Scott also revealed he is working with Trump's son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner on prison reform and a White House-backed plan to revitalize poor urban neighborhoods across the U.S.

The pastor, who has reached out to Kanye through an intermediary, said the rapper "Is aware of it and we are waiting from other artists as well."

A representative for "The Life of Pablo" hitmaker has yet to comment on the report.
