AceShowbiz - Rapper and reality TV star Gunplay is asking a judge to dismiss a lawsuit his ex-girlfriend filed against him following an alleged attack on New Year's Day. The "Love and Hip Hop: Miami" star is said to have exchanged heated words with Aneka Johnston at Florida adult club The Office, where she works as a stripper, in January.

The heated exchanged was said to be happened after he arrived with his current girlfriend, Keyara. Gunplay, whose real name is Richard Morales, Jr., reportedly waited in the parking lot for Johnston's shift to end and head-butted his ex during an altercation.

She suffered bruising to her face and neck, and a scratched cornea, and subsequently filed a police report about the alleged incident.

Johnston then sued Gunplay for battery and is seeking punitive damages for bodily injury, mental anguish, and pain and suffering. However, according to The Blast, Morales, Jr. is denying he assaulted Johnston and claims she attacked and provoked him.

The rapper is claiming self-defence and seeking a dismissal.
