The newly-released trailer for the superhero movie also briefly glimpses a new villain of the movie who attempts to hypnotize anyone watching TV.

AceShowbiz - A new trailer for Pixar's upcoming superhero movie "Incredibles 2" is here for viewing pleasure. The new video sees Mr. Incredible's wife Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) stealing the spotlight and somehow turning the table as Craig T. Nelson's Mr. Incredible is left with parenting duties while she's out there saving the day.

The 2-minute video opens with the superhero families having dinner, where Violet Parr (Sarah Vowell) addresses "the elephant in the room" a.k.a. "mom's new job." The trailer later cuts to a scene where the government is trying "to make some wrong things right" by bringing back superheroes into the sunlight.

"We need to change people's perceptions about superheroes and Elastigirl is our best play," says a government guy. Looking a little bit hurt by the remark, Bob Parr a.k.a. Mr. Incredible asks, "Better than me?"

While Elastigirl is busy saving the city, Mr. Incredible is forced to watch the kids at home. At one point, he's seen trying to help Dash (Spencer Fox) with his math homework but lose patience in no time. The couple's little baby Jack-Jack is not helping as well.

The baby is developing a range of superpowers including breathing fire, thunder and a laser when he sneezes. The baby is also able to go invisible but easily returns after Mr. Incredible lures him with a chocolate chip cookie.

Toward the end of the trailer, a new villain of the sequel is shown. Wearing a black mask, the bad guy attempts to hypnotize anyone watching TV. Mr. Incredible quickly calls Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson) to help him fight the villain. "I'll be there ASAP," Frozone says. His wife appears to overhear the conversation and shouts from the other room, "Where you going ASAP? You better be back ASAP."

The original movie, which was released back in 2004, earned massive success. It raked in more than $660 million worldwide.

"Incredibles 2" is set to hit theaters in the U.S. on June 15.
