The group made up of Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in April.

AceShowbiz - NSYNC will be getting their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but fans will have more to celebrate. The "Bye Bye Bye" hitmaker reportedly plans a "special" reunion performance for the Walk of Fame ceremony set to take place next month.

"The guys want to do something special for their fans, and they want to perform a song together to commemorate the occasion," a source tells HollywoodLife.com. "What they are thinking is to do something fun like a medley of songs, or one song and they think it would be fun to do something acapella. They want to give their fans that one last NSYNC moment to cherish together and forever."

The boyband made up of Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick will have their name cemented at 7080 Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles on April 30. The ceremony will kick off at 11:30 P.M. PT and will stream live on WalkOfFame.com.

The members have taken to Twitter to celebrate the news. "How fitting this ceremony will take place on Its Gonna Be May Day! See y'all there!" Lance tweeted.

Meanwhile, Joey teased a few minutes before the performance, "In the next few mins everyone will finally know what time and date @nsync is getting a star on the walk of fame."

JC retweeted the announcement from NSYNC's official Twitter account, "It's official! You all are invited to watch us get our Star on the Walk of Fame!! Monday April 30th at 11:30am! @wofstargirl #walkoffame."

Justin and Chris have yet to share their reactions publicly. The former is currently on his "Man of the Woods Tour" tour in support of his fifth studio album of the same title. On April 28 and 29, a day before the Walk of Fame ceremony, he is scheduled to perform at The Forum in Inglewood, California.

There were rumors that the group would reunite during Super Bowl halftime show which Justin headlined this year, but that didn't happen. The fivesome was last seen together in August 2016 when they attended JC's 40th birthday bash.
