The royal-bride-to-be reportedly received her Confirmation right after the baptism, which took place at the Chapel Royal on Tuesday evening.

AceShowbiz - Meghan Markle has officially been baptized into the Church of England. A new report suggests that the fiancee of Prince Harry was baptized in an intimate 45-minute service on Tuesday evening, March 6.

Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, conducted the ceremony which took place at the Chapel Royal in St. James's Palace in London, Daily Mail reported. Prince Harry reportedly attended the ceremony with Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, joining them. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince William were said to be not present during the procession.

Meghan's parents, Doria Ragland and Thomas Markle, were previously said to be attending the ceremony. However, the site said that it's "not thought" either attended.

The ceremony was so intimate that it was closely guarded. It was also said that there was only a handful of royal aides involved.

Meghan allegedly asked 62-year-old Archbishop Welby to lead the service as they form a close bond with each other in the recent weeks as he instructed her on the rites and sacraments of the Church.

The site further stated that they followed with Meghan's Confirmation after the baptism. With the former "Suits" actress receiving her confirmation, she will be able to join Harry at Holy Communion. Later Prince Charles and Camilla reportedly hosted a dinner for 18 guests at the Clarence House.

Meghan was raised Protestant and attended a Catholic school. She doesn't have to be an Anglican to marry Harry. However, she opted to be baptized ahead of her May 19 wedding to Harry to respect The Queen, who is the head of the Church of England.

She recently enjoyed a spa-themed bridal party at Soho Farmhouse in London. "Markus Anderson has helped throw the shower for Meghan and a small group of mostly her London friends," another source claimed. "It's just a relaxing day of good food and pampering."

Meghan and Harry will wed at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle on May 19. Meghan reportedly will walk the aisle in a gorgeous wedding gown which costs $550,000.
