AceShowbiz - It seems like Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden are about to expand their little family. A new report suggests that the couple, who has been married for three years, is now expecting their first child together.
"Cameron's struggles to conceive haven't been easy," a source tells In Touch Weekly (via Meaww). "There were some really tough times when she thought motherhood maybe just wasn't in the cards for her, but she never gave up hope that someday she would become a mom."
The pair allegedly used IVF (In Vitro Fertilization). And fortunately, they got a positive result.
"Cameron finally has reason to celebrate! The IVF worked -- she's pregnant," claims the source. "They have a baby on the way, and they couldn't be happier."
The insider further adds that the couple is sharing this exciting news with their close friends and family. "The Holiday" actress and the Good Charlotte guitarist/vocalist are reportedly all set to get the nursery ready for their unborn baby.
"Cameron was super healthy, had the best doctors -- and still, nothing. There were a lot of tears," the source goes on revealing. "Thank God for Benji, who was always very supportive. He didn't care how they had a baby -- he was determined to make Cameron a mom."
It is said that "the nursery is almost done" and "they've been working on baby names for a while now." The source adds, "They're all set in that department but won't be telling anyone until the baby comes."
The 45-year-old blonde beauty "is also not sharing the baby's gender just yet." However, it seems like to be a boy since "[Maryland native] Benji has been super excited about adding Baltimore Orioles items to the nursery. Of course, Benji would do that even if it was a girl, so who knows."
The "Charlie's Angels" star and Benji tied the knot at her home in Beverly Hills, California, on January 5, 2015. The pair were introduced through her close friend and now-sister-in-law Nicole Richie.
