TV

During the premiere, the houseguests are so quick to form an alliance as a big twist awaits at the end of the first challenge to determine the first HOH.

AceShowbiz - "Celebrity Big Brother (US)" aired its premiere episode on Wednesday, February 7 on CBS. All 12 celebrities, including Omarosa, Brandi Glanville, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Keisha Knight Pulliam, Chuck Liddell, Metta World Peace, Shannon Elizabeth, Ross Matthews, Mark McGrath, Ariadna Gutierrez and James Maslow, moved into the house, with Brandi, Metta, Ross and Ariadna being the first group entering the over-the-top Hollywood-themed house.

The second group to enter consisted of Shannon, Tony Award winner Marissa and Omarosa, one of the big stars in the first season of "Celebrity Big Brother". Omarosa, who showed up in a navy ball gown, seemingly turned off Ross with her presence, while Mark appeared to be the most relatable person among the others as he was seen fanboying so hard over Metta and Chuck.

Not wasting much time, the houseguests were so quick to form an alliance. Shannon and Marissa were actually top secret BFFs, but the secret didn't stay longer as Shannon revealed her friendship with Marissa to Omarosa. The three later decided to team up as the former White House staffer gladly accepted the idea, adding that she got a good vibe from Shannon.

The first challenge was to climb onto mock award statues and hold on. The winner would be the first Head of Household and later picked two put up for eviction. Prior to that, one HG was "randomly" chosen to be safe, and that very HG was Omarosa.

During the first challenge, Marissa was the first to fall, only managing to hold on to the statue for three minutes. One by one fell, and James and Shannon were surprisingly the ones left. Eventually, James slipped. With that, Shannon took the first HOH crown. However, the joy didn't last long as Julie Chen instructed each houseguest to grab a gift bag. According to her, someone would get a game-changing power called the Recast, where you can recast the Head of Household as yourself.

Viewers have to wait for tomorrow to learn what would happen next and who got the Recast. "Celebrity Big Brother" airs on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 8 P.M. on CBS.
