AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Christina Perri and husband Paul Costabile who have become new parents. The couple has just taken to Instagram to announce that they have welcomed their first child, a baby girl whom they named Carmella, together to the world.
Paul shared a photo of him cuddling with Christina and their newborn daughter and wrote, "The greatest gift we've ever known !!! Welcome to the world Carmella Stanley Costabile born today." He told his online followers, "Mom and our little principessa are doing great. Dad can't stop crying!"
The couple welcoming their new bundle of joy comes just a month after they tied the knot. Christina took to the social media on December 12, four months after announcing her pregnancy, to announce she married Paul in New York City after being together for four years.
Sharing a black-and-white photo of her new husband clutching her baby bump, the "A Thousand Years" hitmaker wrote, "on this day four years ago, we met," before excitedly announcing, "today, WE GOT MARRIED!!!"
Paul took to his own account to share a photo of the two of them standing in front of a green screen and wrote a sweet message about his now-wife. He explained to his online followers that "4 years ago today I met my dream girl in this room. 4 years later today I married my dream girl and best friend."
"Pretty sure I'm the proudest I've EVER been to be able to call the most bellissima person + woman I've ever known now my wife!!!" he gushed. "Whoa. I thank God for the gift of her, our relationship, our bambino on the way, our family's love and support and this unforgettable year.
