The 37-year-old reality TV star and the 40-year-old hip-hop star have welcomed their third child, a 'healthy' baby girl, and thanked their surrogate for making their 'dreams come true.'

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have welcomed their third child via surrogate. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has taken to her website/app to announce the arrival of a "healthy" baby girl and say that they are "incredibly grateful" for their surrogate for making their "dreams come true."

"She's here! We're so in love," so read the title of Kim's post. Revealing that the baby was born on Monday, January 15 at 12:47 A.M. and weighed seven pounds, six ounces, the 37-year-old reality TV star/socialite announced, "Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl."

Kim went on thanking their surrogate, writing, "We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care." She continued, "North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister."

According to TMZ, Kim and Kanye were both in the delivery room with the surrogate, though the rapper was behind a curtain until after the baby was born. Kim was the first person to hold the baby girl for skin-to-skin bonding, and the surrogate was allowed some contact with the child after the birth. Her sisters Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and momager Kris Jenner were also at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A., where the family's doctor Dr. Paul Crane oversaw the delivery.

On Tuesday, Kanye was spotted in high spirits while out solo in Los Angeles. He looked like a proud dad as he entered a building. Holding onto a laptop and his cell phone, the 40-year-old rapper, who wore a dark brown sweat outfit, could not stop smiling.

Kim, who has been married to Kanye since 2014, decided to turn to a surrogate after suffering complications with her two pregnancies, experiencing early-onset pre-eclampsia with North and further troubles during labor with Saint. Despite this, the KKW Beauty owner previously admitted that she found the surrogacy experience very stressful.

"Anyone that says or thinks it is just the easy way out is just completely wrong. I think it is so much harder to go through it this way, because you are not really in control," shared Kim, who is yet to reveal the name of her baby daughter.

"And, you know, obviously you pick someone that you completely trust and that you have a good bond and relationship with, but ... knowing that I was able to carry my first two babies and not my baby now, it's hard for me," she continued. "So, it's definitely a harder experience than I anticipated just in the control area," she noted.
