AceShowbiz - Earlier today, JYP Entertainment announced that Miss A disbanded after seven years. Following the official announcement, former member Jia took to her Weibo account to share her thoughts on the group's disbandment.
"Seeing the news of Miss A's disbandment, I have a lot of feelings," so she wrote. "Firstly, only because there were Fei, Jia, Min and Suzy, Miss A was created. Only because there was Miss A, there is me; I'm very grateful for my days with the three other members at JYP. Only because of ten years of intense training, is there today's Jia."
Continuing her post, the "Who's That Girl" songstress said that people would eventually have to learn to "be independent." She added, "The best way to show gratitude is to continue moving forward, hoping you all will love my solo music. I'm still in the process of growing, in the coming days I will still need your support. Keep a Good #MOOD#."

Jia officially left the group in May last year after she decided not to renew her contract with the group's label. A month later, the Chinese beauty signed a contract with label Banana Culture Music in Shanghai to pursue her solo career in her native country.
Opening up about her past days in her former label, Jia revealed that she was struggling as her knees "aged quickly because I engaged in rigorous dancing ever since I started training in 2006. I had a lot of concern about my career as my trainee days got longer."
Jia further explained that her struggles didn't end even after she finally debuted with Miss A. "I gained great popularity but I was often scolded by Park Jin Young," she continued. "I used to call fellow member Fei crying and out of anger, I often said I want to quit. But I was kept from making a wrong decision thanks to Fei's warm encouragement and advice."
