Taeyang allegedly announced during their 'Last Dance Tour' in Osaka that he would be enlisting in military service together with groupmates G-Dragon and Daesung.

AceShowbiz - Big Bang members G-Dragon and Taeyang are no longer able to delay their military enlistment, according to their agency YG Entertainment. The South Korean pop stars are set to enlist in mandatory military service in the first half of 2018.

Rumor has it, the two are planning to enlist by next spring.

It doesn't come as a surprise to fans since Big Bang allegedly revealed to fans about their plan to enlist in military next year in the group's "Last Dance Tour" in Osaka, Japan on Saturday, December 23. Taeyang hinted that both he and G-Dragon, alongside fellow Big Bang member Daesung, would be enlisting in military together. "V.I [Seungri's stage name in Japan], you seeā€¦ so the three of us [points at Daesung, G-Dragon and himself] will enter a long blank period next year. But you [Seungri] stay behind alone, right?" Taeyang said.

Taeyang further added that "our original plan was that the four of us would go together in order to come back more quickly. But V.I's plans suddenly changed." Seungri, the youngest member in the five-piece group, revealed that he couldn't enlist in military because of the long waiting list.

Taeyang recently announced his engagement to actress Min Hyo Rin after dating for four years. "I have pledged to spend the rest of my life with Min Hyorin, the one who has always stuck by me for the past four years. Through all the good times and the bad times, she has always believed in me and now I look forward to making a beautiful life together," the "Eyes, Nose, Lips" hitmaker wrote on his Instagram account.

The pair are set to tie the knot in February 2018. "It's true that Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin will get married in February. They'll be having their wedding before he enlists," YG Entertainment said in a statement on December 18.
