The former 'Today' co-host manages to laugh off the accident while still lying in a hospital bed at Cedars-Sinai Hospital.

AceShowbiz - Billy Bush couldn't dodge a golf ball. The television host was hospitalized on Monday, November 27 after being hit in the head by a golf ball. The former "Today" co-host, however, managed to poke fun at the situation while sharing pictures of him lying in a hospital bed at Cedars-Sinai Hospital.

"FORE!! Thanks nurse Katrina, jovi, Jenn, Mercy @cedarssinai for the bed, the care, the ice. I think I dodged a bullet...but sadly not a golf ball. Scan is clear, let the jokes begin #putmedownforpar," he wrote in the caption as he posed with a medical staff member in one of the photos.

The incident comes two days after The New York Times reported Donald Trump was telling people that the infamous tape featuring his lewd conversation with Bush during Bush's days on "Access Hollywood" in 2005 was fake. The President "allegedly suggested to a senator earlier this year that [the tape] was not authentic, and repeated that claim to an adviser more recently."

Trump was heard bragging about grabbing women "by the p***y" in the audio recording. "I don't even wait," Trump said and Bush could be heard laughing. "And when you're a star they let you do it. You can do anything ... grab them by the p***y. You can do anything."

The 71-year-old real estate tycoon admitted it was his voice on the tape and apologized for his derogatory comments about women after the audio surfaced. Bush, meanwhile, was fired from "Today" due to this incident.

Nearly a year after the tape surfaced, Bush and his wife Sydney Davis announced their split, after being married for almost 20 years. "After almost 20 years of marriage, they have separated for the moment to evaluate their life together. They love each other and their children deeply and are committed to a bright future," his rep said in a statement last September.

It was reported that Bush's lewd conversation with Trump left Davis upset. "She was so furious that she refused to speak with him for a while - and she's still furious. They are having marriage problems. He didn't apologize to her for the embarrassment he caused in his statement," a source said at the time.

Bush and Davis got married in April 1998 and have three daughters, Josephine, Mary and Lillie.
