Tyrese's ex-wife Norma, who testified the 'Fast and Furious' actor physically abused both her and their 10-year-old daughter Shayla, also requests a permanent restraining order against him.

The legal battle between Tyrese Gibson and ex-wife Norma continues. In light of his recent bizarre actions, including sharing breakdown videos on social media and picking a fight with his "The Fate of the Furious" co-star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Tyrese's ex is now demanding a mental health evaluation.
TMZ first reported the news. Norma previously testified Tyrese physically abused both her and their 10-year-old daughter Shayla. And according to the site, attorney Aleen Khanjian told the judge on Tuesday, November 14 that the actor's recent social media meltdown constitutes a breach of his temporary restraining order.
Noting that a court-appointed evaluator had already referred to Tyrese as having a "mental illness," Norma asked the court to have the Roman Pearce depicter undergo a mental health evaluation. In addition, she's asking a permanent restraining order against the 38-year-old actor.
The judge has yet to order a mental evaluation.
It was previously reported that Tyrese's planning to represent himself in court after his previous attorney dropped out of the case. A source confirmed earlier this week that Terry Levich Ross is no longer representing the actor after Terry filed for a substitution of attorney.
The ongoing legal battle between him and Norma seemed to have taken a toll on Tyrese. After previously sharing several breakdown videos on social media, Tyrese claimed last weekend that "psych meds" were to blame for his online meltdown.
Taking to Instagram last weekend, Tyrese apologized for his "complete" meltdown, claiming it's because of his prescription drugs. "I want you guys to know that to this day I don't drink, smoke or on any level do I do drugs," he said. "Because of this high stress and very traumatic experience I was advised then ultimately connected with multiple therapist[s] and psychiatrist[s] I had a few private meetings and these were the psych drugs that was suggested and this is the reason I had a complete meltdown online."
"This s**t is completely out of my system," he continued in the now-deleted post. "I flushed these psych meds Down the toilet and I'm already back at 100|percent| - please don't chalk this up as 'oversharing' a lot of people were effected by what these psych meds did to me over these last 2 months and this is my public apology I'm so very sorry guys."
