AceShowbiz - One person seemingly isn't happy when listening to %cTaylor Swift%'s new song, "Getaway Car", off her sixth studio album "Reputation". In the breakup song, the singer compares the image of criminals in a speeding car to a doomed romance, sparking speculation that it's about her ex %cCalvin Harris%, who understandably isn't thrilled about it.
A source close to the DJ reveals to HollywoodLife.com that Calvin "feels insulted" by that song. "He does not like how Taylor was looking for an easy way to move on from their relationship," the source adds.
The lyrics of the song read, "The ties were black, the lies were white/ The shades of gray in candlelight/ I wanted to leave him/ I needed a reason." Fans speculate that Taylor makes a reference to the 2016 Met Gala, where she met %cTom Hiddleston% for the first time. Taylor is further said to be alluding through the lyrics that she dated the "Thor: Ragnarok" star as a reason to leave Calvin.
According to the source, Calvin "wished she would have been honest with him about how she was feeling if she really did want to leave him."
"Calvin hoped that Taylor may have moved past going in on her exes in her tracks and matured as an artist but clearly he was wrong," the source goes on saying. The "Feels" DJ allegedly "hopes this is the last time Taylor ever writes lyrics about him" since "he feels like it is time for her to move on and he is hoping she can leave him out of her music from now on."
The 33-year-old Scottish and the "Look What You Made Me Do" hitmaker started dating back in March 2015. The couple later had a nasty breakup in June 2016, with Calvin taking to Twitter to subtly shade Taylor, who appeared to date Tom shortly after the split. Calvin wrote, "I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of tryin to tear your ex bf down for something to do."
